On December 1, 2006 the fourth academic conference of China Association of Forensic Linguistics (CAFL) was convened in East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai. Nearly one hundred professionals including the professors from the Law Schools and Commercial English Schools of the universities in China and coterie in judicial circles attended the conference. The conference was divided into several professional groups including the forensic linguistics research, legal/forensic translation and legal English teaching to discuss and comment on the dissertations brought by different professionals in a good academic atmosphere.
Zhang, Huiying, from our company, showed the courseware of “Contract English Workshop” in the conference, which obtained the identity of a deputy dean, from China University of Political Science and Law, who considered that such courseware will compensate for the shortage of the attorney practice course in law schools. |
